The JSKA-GB is the British representative of the JAPAN SHOTOKAN KARATE ASSOCIATION, headed by Keigo Abe 9th Dan. Abe sensei was a student of Nakayama Sensei for over 30 years and as such is one of the few people alive today who can lay claim to following his teachings accurately. Therefore, as a group, we feel that through Abe sensei and his teachings, the Shotokan Legacy truly continues.

The JSKA-GB, currently has within its structure four groups, each headed by a member of the JSKA-GB Executive. The JSKA-GB is open to all traditional Shotokan Karate-ka, dojo or associations in Great Britain who wish to be part of a truly apolitical body, teaching Traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate. We offer:
